Short course in digital photography for artists and designers

A 5-day intensive course in Deptford/London

Having good images of the artistic work is more and more important to get acknow
ledged in press and through the internet. Digital photography seems to make it
possible for everybody to make images, but there are still big differences between
professional photos and those done by amateurs.

The aim of this course is to experiment and to learn how to make good studio photos
with a digital camera, simple equipment and awailabel and artificial light; how to
correct and prepare the images for print and web use by using Photoshop.

Material needed for the course:

- Object to be photographed
- Digital camera with manual program possibilities (including white balance)
- tripod
- Laptop with Photoshop program
- Larger sheets of white and coloured paper

The cost for the course per person will be £250.

Places are limited to 12, for the most effective teaching and participation,
